Guild Wars 2 with their recent expansion introduced more "African race" style faces (as their new expansion is placed in Elohna, a desert inhabited by black people), in WOW you can make a dark skinned human, but the facial features and hairstyles don't offer any option like that.
I'm not saying go full Bioware that from SWTOR to Mass Effect has "3 caucasian faces, 3 asian race faces, 3 african race faces" to keep the race breakdown PC and SJW friendly, but there's nothing wrong with offering a bit more options, why keep all the mohawks and dreadlocks to Trolls and non-human races?
Hard to be hyped for "thin and thicc humans", Kul Tiras was one of original Human kingdoms in Warcraft and now suddenly Blizzard is trying to make it as if they're not the same Humans as everyone else? At least "straight back Orcs" will be a customization option, not an extra race. There was a "fat human" model in vanilla, ofc low poly version that looks super drab, I think we can still see these old models in Old Hillsbrad instance and DK starting area (unless they were recently replaced).
It feels like if for example Blizzard decided to add Goblin allied race and just made it "the same Goblins you already know but from another cartel". That would be super lame. At least if we got water goblins (gilblins or how they're named that you see in Vash'ir), you could think "oh this is a separate race".
Yeah I know some races like Trolls have a myriad of sub-races within them while others like Humans or Gnomes not really.
I dislike pandas because they are pandas, not because they are fat. Ogres are fat too and I dig them.
Really? Going by the forums back then, youd have thought the pandaren were a sign of the apocalypse. I remember one thread here on Mon where some clown threatened a hunger strike if bluzz didn't remove them from the game.

maybe it just reminds them that they too are fat.
and fatties dont deserve love
Pandaren can be fat because they are usually cute. The male not so much, but it's still passable - it's a Panda!
But humans... Humans aren't cute. Not even the children. The babies look like grubs! GO PANDAREN!
Who the fuck said i was ok with fat pandas? i would love a fit panda with no jiggle.
Messed up thing is that Draenor Orcs won't only be brown mag'har orcs, but Dragonmaw with glowing eyes and scale-type growths, Shattered Hand orcs with scars and piercings, Bleeding Hollow orcs with white paint and Blackrocks and Warsong with Garrosh-loyal tattoos.
The 'Kul Tiran' and Thin human models should really just be barbershop customizations, sure it's a different model with different animations but upright orcs already use modified animations. It's not like there aren't bulky Stormwindians or Gilneans.
Really, if Blizzard decided to make Kul Tirans an allied race they should at least give us the option to choose between the bulky, the thin and the standard models, but make the latter noticeably different through customization options. Give them the ability to only have one eye or have hook hands, etc.
The problem isn't that they're fat the problem is that they're just slightly different humans.

Overweight and nimble... imagine that in MMA. If only axe wasn't their only weakness.
Where the fuck were you when pandas were announced the complaining reached its peak then. Everyone making jokes about kung fu panda .....
People have an issue with Pandaren. I don't.
People have an issue with Ogres. I don't.
People have issues with "overweight" Kul Tirans. I don't.
Matter of preference as always. I love the Pandaren, Ogres, and while I don't "FAVOR" the Kul Tiran humans. I don't like humans and elves generally but I do like the concept.
