I'd really love for Blizzard to use Reforged as a platform for new campaigns, even if they're paid DLC. Because of WoW, we know that a WC4 game is extremely unlikely in anything approaching the short or medium term, so using that new engine to create new RTS content would please me immensely, whenever it's an RTS-only canon or a recreation of WoW hostilities such as the war against the Lich King or the Mists-Cata conflict.

If not, oh well, there's plenty there to please me. As always with Blizzard, the art team is on point.

Switch pros would get absolutely annihlated by PC pros because of the advantages mouse and keyboard provide in this regard.

You forget WC3 is a ESPORT. a RTS. They in fact, would be. Blizzard wouldn't have it any other way for an RTS.

They wouldn't - Overwatch is an ESport too and PS4 players do not play with PC players. This is common knowledge.

Since COD and Fortnight have cross play, this is largely an old school division. More and more, cross play will become the norm.

Having said that, not sure I would want to play Warcraft III (or any RTS) on a console.

I'm going to guess and hope that the more 3D looking icons are placeholders as they look pretty bad. The quality difference between icons is pretty big at times

I think that's bullshit. Changing gender of the 2 probably most popular heroes(ok, not BM here but still). I hope they're just skins/options.
I loved male Death Knight and Demon Hunter animations, quotes and MODELS. They were so popular that plenty of players were using them in their random games, such as Terrorblade in DOTA, Duke Wintermaul in... every TD Maul in the history of Warcraft, even in the first DB games they were present as Sayians etc.
I hate that idea of them becoming females.
(inb4 "are your masculinity threatened?! lel", no - it's about models/quotes/preferences, as I wrote above - I don't care if they're just skin/option)
