Cuban voters in Florida have always been solidly Republican and were never going to vote Democratic. The attack on Bernie during the primary about losing the Cuban vote/losing Florida because of his comments on Castro was a completely baseless attack to try to get people to think that voting for Biden would mean Democrats might win Florida with the Cuban vote. It was completely baseless Biden propaganda to ever think Cubans in Florida were gonna vote for him or Bernie.

Ironically Bernie probably had a better shot with Cubans than Biden, because while Cubans in Florida vote Republican, they also overwhelmingly support a single payer healthcare system, along with all of the other Latino demographics, even the ones that are against abortion and very Catholic.

It is optimistic they called it much earlier then most states. Trump has flipped no states. So far Biden has flipped 12 EC votes. just needs a couple more states.

When it comes to the US the true left isn't electable thanks to the EC and republicans knowing they can lose the popular vote by 5-10million votes if it means getting the fear mongering done in the right place. Which they do.
