What you mean to say is that mild social democratic policies remind people of militant Stalinism?

Which is kind of like saying people are put off by apples because they remind them too much of oranges.

sorry, i thought bernie was supposed to be more appealing to republicans? the silent leftist majority doesn't hold water in an election with record turnout.

Those fucking crone obviously heard this shit from some bullshit oann or some other hard-core right-wing propaganda and was scaring the residents who are at end of life and worry about religion as a top priority.

The biggest thing the Democrats need to figure out is how to get out a message to help reprogramme some of these idiots.
I wouldn't worry about it, thanks to Trump Coronavirus will probably solve that problem.

Trump's lead is down to about 2% now in Georgia with most of the votes left in urban areas.

There's a lot of "special" people in the US. C'mon guys, it's the drinking water isn't it? Tell me.

Ironically Bernie probably had a better shot with Cubans than Biden, because while Cubans in Florida vote Republican, they also overwhelmingly support a single payer healthcare system, along with all of the other Latino demographics, even the ones that are against abortion and very Catholic.

It is optimistic they called it much earlier then most states. Trump has flipped no states. So far Biden has flipped 12 EC votes. just needs a couple more states.

Apparently in the US, "left" means "more inclusive concentration camps for foreign children" lulz.

You wouldn't know what left wing was if it bit you on the backside, because all you ever see are right wing Democrats like Biden and Kamala. Even Bernie isn't particularly left wing. He's calling for a healthcare system most of the rest of the world has had for decades. Not socialist countries - pretty much all first world countries. Capitalist democracies.

Let me give you a hint - how many candidates have proposed nationalising an industry? Let me know when you spot one, because that's what "left wing" means.

P.S. I'm not in Europe lol, maybe consult a globe some time - there's more to the planet than the US and Europe.

this may come as a shock but not everybody votes solely on healthcare.

Okay, you clearly have no idea what "left" means lol.
When it comes to the US the true left isn't electable thanks to the EC and republicans knowing they can lose the popular vote by 5-10million votes if it means getting the fear mongering done in the right place. Which they do.

Biden's platform for America is very left wing. He's gone so far as to call for public health care and drug decrimilization. Yes in Europe that's nothing, in the US that's heavily left wing.
