If you call a game a JRPG strictly, which was what started this, people are going to think of games like Ni No Kuni, Persona, SMT, Final Fantasy, etc.
Like I said from the start, it has role playing elements to it. But if you're going to label the game, it's a turn based strategy first and foremost. Hence why it would be nominated and win an award for being a strategy game.
Moving the goalpost from "It's a JRPG" to "Well, it's a tactical JRPG!" is just that, goalpost moving.
