Its pretty much confirmed by EVERYONE that the PAX trailer is the beef! If Universal/Legendary doesn't get that, they are seriously stupid!

Duncan is our hero if they actually release this trailer online!

I have a feeling Universal won't release it regardless.

I'm assuming the PAX 'exclusive' is the same one the last con got and the Russian event will
get. If it ever releases properly, it'll be a while after the Russian showing.

If they actually aren't sabotaging this film from within, they will release it, specially with reception like that. After all unless they intent of making Trailer 2 the last one, which would be pretty bad, all they'd have to do is just upload it. Literally. Inb4 they change the music and shortened to less than 2 minutes.

I must say, Duncan Jones is a godsend. Active on Twitter, actually passionate about the movie and he feels the same way as we do about the marketing... Let's hope he can make them release the trailer officially.

I can totally understand why they would give CinemaCon and PAX exclusive trailers, I really can. But... the trailer should not be better than the ones that have been put online. If anything, showing exclusive footage instead, from the film, would be way more understandable (like during the Comic Con when they first showed stuff)

This trailer is what we NEED. Its what every react channel needs! A lot of those channels have been skipping over the international and 2nd trailer because they were so short it wasn't worth putting up videos. Heck some probably ignored it because it mostly used the same scenes from the first trailer... I mean this one does use some too, but most of it is extended or is fitting more together with other scenes!

Anyway, lets hope Duncan can do something...

I don't, I really don't understand the PAX one. Exclusivity doesn't make any sense one month before release on a room full of people that already are going to see the movie. A scene of the movie? OK, but a trailer?

Exactly, but its still understandble IMO, they just wanna give the people there something exclusive so they actually feel it has been worth coming there

Isn't the point of exclusive footage to release it later, but just give people who bothered to show up a first view and get it hyped. Why release footage you worked hard on, edited, put music on and then show it like 200 people. Absolute madness.

Hah i guess i sounded more hateful than it should, i mean this movie has it's own universe and Stormwind can end up somewhat likable, but god how much i dislike it in game.

Having the director and one of the main actors talking about the movie in front of you for one(?) hour is something i consider worth going for and definitely exclusive enough. Want to also show the best trailer by far yet? Sure, as long as it's going to be released online right after.

But this? Let me show you an example. I just came back from a house full of friends where we were watching trailers from many upcoming movies. Everyone in there knew what a big Warcraft fan i am, so they decided to watch again one of the official trailers just for me. But one of them shouted ''OH NO, I'VE SEEN THE 2ND TRAILER AND IT FUCKING SUUUUCKS''. They all then started to laugh and i felt sad, not because i care if they indeed like it or not, i'm not gonna force anyone to go and watch it just because i want to. But because i knew that this bad impression they had for the movie was a result of the beyond awful marketing.
So i asked them to give me a chance, and i immediately showed them the PAX trailer. They were honestly all impressed , and kept wondering why in seven bloody hells this trailer isn't official yet. This trailer can do A LOT of good to the movie of our beloved franchise, yes, even in one month's time.

What I wonder is how Lothar will die. In lore Orgrim kills him, but I doubt Orgrim will Mak'gora Blackhand in this one. The impact will certainly be lessened, considering he's a Frostwolf.
