Back in college, I took a Marriage and Families course to satisfy a lib arts requirement. I had to do a survey of questions I made up. The survey was probably put to 20 ppl, most of them other students at the college.

One question was do you prefer shorter or taller men?

I received one answer several times, and it really surprised me. The ladies preferred taller men because being around a taller guy made the ladies feel more comfortable about their own bodies!

I like men that are shorter than me. If they're hot, it makes them much hotter... I don't really know why... but that's just me.

I believe it. Growing up it was all about being petite. Being next to a tall, preferably strong man would definitely help that self-image. And that self-image can really dig itself into you. Even though I've grown to understand how silly it is, I still watch my figure and count my calories despite the fact I am slightly underweight for my height.

-Reasons
--Generally short/regular people have better body builds.
--I almost get the impression that taller people are inherently more awkward?
--When i see a 10/10 girl it is usually with a normal/short guy.

In general women prefer tall men. There's obviously going to be some variation in that. That's not to say that just because a guy is short means he's out of luck(though with some women he would be).

Ultimately there are more important things than height. If you're charming, funny, good looking, and well groomed most women would be willing to overlook the height. Plenty of short guys get women, otherwise short guys would have been bred out a long time ago.

None of it bothers me tbh, height means shit to me.
Facial features, personality and proportionate body matter far more.
A lot of very tall or short people lack body proportions, especially tall people who have average legs but huuuuge torso, looks... ugh.
Ive dated taller and shorter women than me, never seen any real issue with it.

There are some issues with being too short or too tall, most mechanical in nature and seems like taller people have more age-related issues and lower lifespawn.

Its all about attitude, also "short" is very subjective, back home im average, in england im average, in the US i was a midget. Cant imagine if i moved to the netherlands.
Then you also have the fact that average female height is around 165ish.
