Challenge Mode : Play WoW like my disability has me play:
You will need two people, Brian MUST use the mouse for movement/looking and John MUST use the keyboard for casting, attacking, healing etc.
Briand and John share the same goal, same intentions - but they can't talk to each other, however they can react to each other's in game activities.
Now see how far Brian and John get in WoW.
It's about as crazy as imagining if you realized this was for a charity event for a girl with cancer. They do a nice thing, and you take that opportunity to crap on it because qq you want better armor. Good for you, I bet you're a wonderful person in real life with meaningful relationships and not at all a drain on those around you.

Haven't most/all of the secrets so far required some form of datamining? Or at least it made them easier to solve. I could be wrong, as I'm not a member of the community. I appreciate their efforts though, that's for sure!

Here, here!
Can confirm you don't need to go to Elywnn Forest. Just talk to Amara and then go to Kara (Legion version).
Is there a list somewhere of all the secret things like this? I have the mindwyrm, and the water-based octupus mount thing, would like to know what i'm missing
I think you are looking for this website: https://warcraft-secrets.com/
Enjoy!
Eh, they could never grant every wish so I'm not really a huge fan of that either. It's just a PR stunt most of the time games do that type of thing.
Anyways OT, we weren't getting it done so I dunno why people are upset that a 'source' solved it. After some progress, it was months of chasing our tails about the cat in that discord. I'd feel differently if it was a bigger secret maybe... but I have a feeling we've had similar nudges on a few of those.
Do you really think the art department also tunes the game and adds secrets?
Designing armor, number tuning, and secrets in WoW are all done by different departments. So, you can hope for better content that interests you, and you can certainly voice that. But, you can actually make that point in the right direction, instead of making "either/or" arguments. It doesn't help anything.
3 hints to surviving MMO-C forums:
1.) If you have an opinion, someone will say that it is wrong
2.) If you have a source, there will be people who refuse to believe it
3.) If you use logic, it will be largely ignored
btw: Spires of Arak = Arakkoa.
"Why of course the people don't want war…. But, after all… it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country."
Imagine if people were actually supportive in social comments?! Isn't there enough crap in the world without --How can you be so dumb, idiotic, pissed off etc....etc.....ad infintum
Id think its pretty obvious all secrets ingame are essentially out-of-hours passion projects by someone on the team....
ie they arent taking away from on-hours stuff.
