Fact/Opinion
*SC offers better gameplay in all its current areas better than any game avaiable (Hahahah yeah fucking okay!)
*ED does not have entertaining gameplay (For YOU)
*ED is just a complete let down for a space game (50 player cap server crashing buggy SC isnt't?)
*ED doesn't do anything better than SC (Opinion yet again)
*SC battles are way more dynamic and larger (Larger in what way, 50 player server cap much?)
I have played during the event in the latest patch for several hours at a time, not one single crash, no issues playing the game at all, seems you have not played the game yourself at all, im also playing on a 7 year old PC and performance is still reasonable. Dont claim something when you have not even tested it yourself. It may have the occasional crash and thats only because the official server system is not implemented.
Not claiming SC to be perfect, just its better than all the other options.

Plenty of doubt right here.

The irony is palpable.

Which is it? No issues playing the game at all or it has crashes? It cannot be both brah.

Which may or may not ever BE implemented. What matters is what is in the game right now. 50 player server cap, crashes and bugs galore.

I think you get the idea.
an unintentional scam is simply incompetence. Which probably describes the SC development rather accurately.
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death
3.16 is already out? didnt 3.15 release not long time ago? like a month or two?

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. Then they could sell the 1st ship off the line, which will eventually lead to someone getting the last ship off the line.
TBH, I'm surprised they haven't started selling yearly models for each ship; eg: the 2950 Origin 300i, 2951 Origin 300i. Perhaps having certain models become discontinued, or even have a manufacturer go out of business, and thus artificially increasing the price of many ships.
a really great example of recently added in-game systems leading to more organic combined arms gameplay.
i think that there are still some iterations that i would like to see like adding manned/remote laser/missile turrets, that can include hacking gameplay to take control of them and have them get disabled instead of being destroyed, requiring repair to regain use of them. this will help to equalize ground combat versus aerial supremacy, but still provide opportunity costs for ground forces in order to benefit from the turrets.

Their winning because a game with those features is being developed. And since there's no other game providing that kind of gameplay or other company attempting it (at least that we know off) it's only normal that funding keeps increasing as more players enjoy what the game offers now and what it's thriving for.
Imo it's worthy for the truck simulator in space experience alone.
