This is the Liquid I was hoping would show up a bit sooner. Six pulls in a row to intermission 2. If they'd played like this yesterday this would be a much closer race. If they keep it up and Echo has a bad day tomorrow and SOMEHOW doesn't kill the boss, they might have a chance.
That's something I noticed watching echo right away. They are way more consistent when it comes to playing perfectly. Limit has a lot of goof off players who just don't really seem to take it that seriously. If you look it's usually the same players dying in p1. Still after 300 pulls there shouldn't be as many wipes in p1 as they're seeing now. Idk how echo does it. Must be that elx elixir gingi drinks.
Liquid down to 20.49% now
I'm gonna let 'em know that Dolemite is back on the scene! I'm gonna let 'em know that Dolemite is my name, and fuckin' up motherfuckers is my game!
Yeaaah... this boss has too much HP for them to burst down nearly 20% with that limited space and people dying almost guaranteed. I don't see them gaining much more damage in P2 either.
Now the question is how Blizzard intends to make this killable, but not nerf it when the other guild is sleeping. Though good to see Liquid stepped up and is getting consistency in there, I'd say both guilds are playing equally well at this point.
So either they kill it in the what, ~3h they have left on the day, or Echo kills it before they wake up.
Seems like a fair race either way. Not really any gross distortions on the outcome.
They hit under 20 and it did start healing but not sure if that was because it was evade bugging or if it's something new

Neither is killing it if the healing is intended unless it's something really dumb like it heals to full then gets npced
Liquid 17.7 % !

Well then get your shit together.
Get it all together. And put it in a backpack. All your shit. So it’s together. And if you gotta take it somewhere, take it somewhere, you know, take it to the shit store and sell it, or put it in a shit museum, I don’t care what you do, you just gotta get it together.

As I heard them talking about dinner in a few pulls, someone said "be careful about how much you eat so you don't get sleepy" and I was thinking normally after a break or a food break people get sloppy since the pattern is broken.

yeah no worries, I just happened to be watching that stream and hoped they'd beat Echo's best just for the sake of morale.

They got him even lower and that's after the food break, so that's impressive since usually those break the repetition focus after you return.

phase starts with 241.9M hp
things get hectic after 120 seconds, Liquid survived for about 165 seconds.
you do the math, but at peak 1.33M dps it is not enough, you start getting deaths after 3rd charge which happens after 120 seconds.
