Gone back to my favourite layout and something that has bothered me for years is the placement of the pet bar and pet frame. Anybody got any suggestions?

Do you use the pet bar in combat much? If not, I'd scale it down and put it under the minimap. Available but out of the way.

Not a bad idea, though I think faded out just above the action bar as you have it works fine. I certainly struggle myself trying to find a good spot for the pet frame though. I typically go one of two directions:
* Unitframes to the sides (RealUI), with the pet bar under my character.
* Unitframes to the side (again, RealUI), with the pet bar under the player frame.

In both cases, my WeakAuras are then above the player frame, which keeps most all pertinent info right there either all on the left, or mostly on the left with just the pet frame below. I've found this works well because unlike a lot of layouts that place frames/weakauras below the character, I can better see the 'bad' I might be stepping in. The only downside is that my attention can end up heavily on the left, leaving me to stand in the bad anyway.

Oh, and expressway free is the One True WoW Font.

My UI isn't much. I've moved a few things from the basic ElvUI setup and have a few other addons that customize it a little. I'm looking to do more though, just not sure where to start. I loved SpartanUI back before it died out when the author stopped updating it pre-cata. I was thinking of trying to merge the two addons. From the looks of it there are a few extremely talented designers in this thread and was wondering if there was any pointers to be had in starting on this.

I don't have a raid shot as of now, but I can post one after my next raid. Generally though it looks exactly the same only adds in the raid frames above the left side chat box, Main tanks above that, and boss frames off to the right side below the pet bar.

Changed the font from Myriad Pro to Expressway. Got rid of the capital letters again because I like it (:

Can you hand me that font without the capitals? I might give it a try!
Or that tool to replace the capitals.

Changed mine again! Haven't used portraits since.. lvl 80? So that's pretty fun, even if I can't figure out how to sort the border on Stuf while using the 3d animated portrait format, without one of the edges disappearing.

Carebear, would you remember the name of that program to change the font?
I tried it with your custom Expressway, but didnt like it that much for my UI.
So I would like to play around with some other fonts. Been googling a bit but dont find a tool that would help me.

Im not sure how happy I am with this. I dont like my ui's to be to fancy, but thats a work in progress, and not even my main.

The green is where my raid frames would normally be.

Why would you need so much space if you just position everything in the center?
