FYI, "The People" chose Clinton in 2016.

Anyways, I'm not surprised to see you go full Trump. It must be hard to watch Dear Leader being a total failure. It's ok, you'll be much better off after November when Biden fixes everything Trump broke.

Why do you trash Fox News like this? Have some respect.

No wonder that good advice for Biden is to not have any news conference where there are going to be open questions from the reporters ( apart from the one I saw recently, where the reporters and questions where clearly staged ) ....

Former Vice President Joe Biden raised eyebrows Thursday with comments comparing the African American and Latino communities.

During an interview that aired at the convention of the National Association of Black Journalists and National Association of Hispanic Journalists, NPR's Lulu Garcia-Navarro pressed the presumptive Democratic nominee if he would "re-engage" with Cuba as president, something she suggested would have an impact on Cuban-American voters in Florida.

"Yes, yes," Biden responded. "And by the way, what you all know, but most people don’t know, unlike the African American community, with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly different attitudes about different things.”

Reactions to questions like this, may be one reason Trump has gained some votes from the African Americans.

There is some truth to it though. Hispanics come from multiple countries. While there are some cultural similarities, they are also quite different. Cubans, with their bullshit special status, have different priorities than the Central American communities. Mexicans may have different priorities from the Guatemalans, etc.

African-Americans in the USA generally speaking, WITH EXCEPTIONS like he said, have very similar priorities.

Lol, it's hysterically sad when you try and push stuff like this combined with your lies about Trump "gaining" votes with African Americans. And pushing Faux "News" stories as a source for anything realistic is just more of your desperation.

Where were your comments on the Axios interview with Trump. Do you recall when Trump said, amongst the many horrific blunders and idiocies, "when I got here, we didn't even have a test".

But keep on trying, it's adorable - and good practice.

You literally posted an edited clip to bash a political figure.

Let me know when you learn what irony is.

Hell even Cubans have different different priorities among themselves. The ones who arrived when Castro came to power, and have nothing left in the island, want nothing more than to punish and pressure Cuba. The ones who came in the past 30 years with family still in the island want normalized relations so we can help our families and visit them regularly like people from other nationslities without having to jump through hoops.

I think Biden's comments are reflected in polling, where more than a quarter of Latinos actually support Trump.

I often wonder how that breaks down between: 1) socially conservative Hispanics (which accounts for most of the conservative black community), 2) actual foreign policy differences (IE, Cubans), and 3) sentiment that the Democratic party focuses too much on black minorities as opposed to others. I personally know at least a dozen Latinos who vote Republican because they too view African Americans as lazy welchers.

So, what you're saying is you know a dozen racists who openly espouse their racist views.

That sounds a lot like members of my family.

On a more serious note, I think there's a strong case for Latinos and African Americans to be conservative. It can largely revolve around religion, as well as being raised through difficulty. But, what i cannot fathom, is why they'd support the GOP.

I listened to the whole interview on NPR. He was very eloquent and professional by any standard. He was not dealing with softball questions either. Still sounds like a kindly uncle.

Compare Biden's interview to Trump's Axios interview with Swan. That was downright painful. Trump sounded like an argumentative petulant child. Not very presidential. Somebody need to count the number of times he used "uh" during that interview.

I'm struggling to find any actual outrage about this from anyone other than conservatives outraged on behalf of African Americans.

I thought y'all liked dudes who "Say it like it is" and "isn't afraid to not be PC"?

It's almost like there's some kind of historical context for this, maybe involving slavery and the destruction of heritage that prevents these people from having those same ancestral ties as more recent Latin American immigrants.

oh yeah, they're definitely racist. I didn't say they were friends, at least.

Minorities can definitely be racist. My grandmother was an Indian woman who spoke the Queen's English and definitely thought Indians were superior to other people. Like, unironically.

As for minorities being conservative, you see that split pretty deeply in Asian immigrant communities. Until Kamala came along, most prominent Indian-American politicians were conservative: Bobby Jindal, Nikki Haley. They think, "We managed to make it 'on our own,' why can't they?" My dad, who was a banker and came here when he was 28, was a Democrat til the day he died, and he taught us that most Indians wanted to forget where they came from. Which is India, a country that after its Independence in 1947, was strongly a democratic socialist nation. My dad, who was lower middle class (which translated to "poorer than any American") and grew up in a 3 room flat where his entire family shared one bed, had no running water or electricity, thus no TV or refrigeration, no car, etc......was able to go to university because he was smart enough to qualify, and he didn't have to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars. And he graduated and became a CPA....without debt. And it was all because India prioritized education of their post-Independence generations. He always reminded me that that has still yet to happen for most minorities that have been born and raised in the U.S. Even poor Latinos who come from elsewhere have an opportunity to start fresh....instead of start in the cycle of inner city violence and poverty.

Well those two interviews are connected, because they are always connected between Trump and Biden. Projection is all the have, so when Trump flubs an interview they are going to claim that Biden also flubbed an interview, and that this is "Fair". The objective realities of the situation have no bearing on the situation.

Projection is so ridiculous here that I fully expect to see them attacking Biden for having a bad spray tan, or bankrupting all his casinos.

What makes it baffling is that the GOP is not a conservative party. Haven't been, for decades. They're "conservative" in the same sense that the Nazis were "socialist" or North Korea is "democratic"; it's a propaganda lie used to delude voters.

They're socially regressive (not actually the same as "conservative"), and they are fiscally irresponsible, traditionally leading to large increases in the debt during their tenures, due to the policies they pass.

Lately, they're pushing into fascism, and fascism is not remotely conservative; it's radical.

The Axios interview was one of the most awkward interviews I have ever seen. Normally, interviews are awkward, because the interviewer bounces around too much, so the flow is weird. or, they ask ridiculously personal questions.

This wasn't the case. It was simply an interviewer calling on the interviewee to explain himself, and to actually hold him to his words. It was shocking how poorly Trump did, he was lost. His talking points weren't being glossed over, and he had no way to respond. Trump cannot handle a back-and-forth interview, because his lies cannot stand up to even the slightest amount of scrutiny.

I doubt we see Trump do another "hostile" interview in the next 3 months. Mind you, this interview wasn't hostile at all, but I don't expect Trump's staff to allow him to speak to anyone who isn't a true Trump dullard. he's going to get the Sara Palin treatment, and he will get softball questions from Fox and Friends, as well as Hannity. Expect his team to limit how the debates are done.w

I agree, they stopped being conservatives a very long time ago, and that's really in any sense of the word. Even guys like Bob Dole seem like paragons of true America conservatism in contrast to the likes of the Trumpster fire we have now.

It also shows that the splinter groups like the Tea Party and Freedom caucus were also never about conservatism. If they were, they'd be Trump's loudest detractors. Instead, they are his staunchest allies.

I don't think I've ever called you a Trump supporter, so I'm not sure what this strawman is about.

Is this about his comment on the differences between the Latinx and African American communities?

You know, the one that nobody in either community seems much to care about? I mean, I'm not gonna get outraged on behalf of people of color if they're not outraged about something.
