Class Pages Update
The bug you experienced with the class pages (or any other "big" pages) are now fixed. Masteries are gone for the moment and have been replaced with the Primary Skills of each spec.

Also, during the fix/upgrade of the site yesterday we introduced a special feature to make the forums more active: your posts are now randomly posted twice when you hit the Submit button! (Translation: Yeah, known bug, will fix today)

Hunter - Cataclysm Pet/Stable Interface
The Call Stabled Pet has been revamped in Cataclysm.
  • You can now have 5 active pets and 20 inactive pets.
  • You can swap between your active pets at any time without any cooldown. The only restriction is to be out of combat.
  • To change your active/inactive pets, you have to visit a Stable Master in the nearest town.

Sadly, the feature is currently heavily bugged on beta realms and you will have to wait the next build to give it a try.

Western Plaguelands in Cataclysm
The Western Plaguelands are now ready for testing on the Beta realm and it's definitely one of the zone that will make rerolling interesting in the expansion. Blizzard changed the zone completely and familiar faces are now in charge of the Alliance and Horde settlements.

Scholomance was also changed and you will probably go through it at least once to do all the quests. What? You don't want to do all the prereqs just to get the instance quests? Don't worry, they're all at the entrance of the instance now. The instance itself didn't change too much, monsters are now level 4x.

I apologize for not knowing what pally tier looks like , on account of never playing one. Too me it looks more like a bloodelf than a nightelf though.

the quests at the entrance of the instance will be bizarre, look at that, the barovs who ask you to murder the opposing one are standing next to each other!

Your description of Blade Flurry on the rogue page is inconsistent with the tooltip. I'm assuming the tooltip is correct.

But it's leaving me confused if Blade Flurry still has an attack speed buff associated with it, or if it's just a cleave.

Are you talking about members of either faction stereotyping each other, or something I'm missing?
I may need more coffee, depending on the answer, since I think I don't get it otherwise =)

It's sad to think that many who joined after BC never even stepped into that place on their march to 70 or 80.

So kudos to Blizz for finding a way to bring those story lines and that instance back into the pool for the levelers.
release scholomance is still one of the hardest dungeons blizzard has ever released, imo. it was like "let's pack 300 mobs in this small room and see if they can pull without being overrun." and those mobs with the aoe that was bugged that would occasionally one shot your entire group... fun fun.

They need to change the Hunter thing I almost always have some reason to switch pets in an instance so I need to have the ability to do so. I should not have to teleport out find the stable master ect.

I love how people equate frustrating time sinks with difficulty.

Regarding the new Hunter stables: Is it 5 active + 20 inactive = 25 total slots, or is it 5 active + 15 inactive = 20 total slots? I could just assume that since the first page has 10 slots then the second does as well, but it could just as easily only have 5, or it could have ten and ten and then the active slots on the left could just be showing which one of the 20 in the other window are active... I just want to clarify how many 'actual' slots we are getting...

You can switch between your 5 whenever and whereever, its just switching the 5 with the other 20 that requires a stablemaster.

I have to say the hunter changes (no more ammo and the pet change) really makes it look fun to play a hunter. The different pet types offering different raid buffs angle might make it easier for a hunter to find a group as well.
