Damn, I wish people would just give me computer parts for Christmas! O_o

I'd like a full HD 1920x1080 monitor, no larger than 24".
An Asus Xonar DS or whatever the nice $90~ one is.
I also want to build like a 32-bit based computer so I can run old games like Age of Empires, Roller Coaster Tycoon, and such.... I miss them and my current computer won't properly install and/or run them.
Since every1 pretty much knows much about setups.
Little question
I7-2600
4gb memory
Radeon HD 6870
How would this run WoW on 1920x1080?
You could drop down to the 2500(k) (i7 only has hyperthreading over the i5, which isn't worth it for gaming) and yes, it will run it
Oh hell yeah Roller Coaster Tycoon... I wasted so much time playing that game back in high school... wonder if I still have the install disc laying around.
I'm planning on consolidating my ISA and AD servers into one box (Linux host OS running VMWare with separate ISA, AD/DNS/DHCP, Exchange, and FS VM's), which would free up my old E8400 w/ 4GB DDR2. Since you mentioned that, I might have to setup an old WinXP box for classic stuff myself.I also want to build like a 32-bit based computer so I can run old games like Age of Empires, Roller Coaster Tycoon, and such.... I miss them and my current computer won't properly install and/or run them.
red panda red panda red panda!
Is it 700 bucks for just a CPU, memory, and video card?
If so...
2600K - $310
6870 - $195
4GB DDR3 - $40
It's a ripoff.

Some things refuse to install properly even on the awful 32bit version of Win7.I'm thinking a computer like Fuzzy's $500 budget build with Win7 32 bit would do the trick, right?

3.4ghz quad core i7, 8 gigs of ram, 1tb hd, geforce 580 gtx
Here's my setup, I've usually got everything rather clean but it's after a small LAN party at my place..
I truly dislike any neons and shit in my computer, but the case is open as my setup needs "slightly" more airflow than what it's got with case closed currently. Also waiting on new desk either way to put my setup on and probably getting a second 24" screen and faster ram to clock my CPU higher (I've got 2 E8400 so if one blows.. I'll put another in). :3

Its the silverstone raven case, those cases have the motherboards rotated 90 degrees and they are mounted on the other side of the case instead.
It is a long ass case hehe, power supply is mounted in the back at the top too I believe. They are actually pretty neat cases, the cooling in them is really nice especially if you have huge GPUs, they get ALOT more air blown directly between and around them with that case, and it even has room I believe for a fairly decent size radiator too I believe

Overclocking almost done! 4.4 GHZ still working on it!! Wait.......where is all that smoke coming from?
As much as I hated getting my basement flooded.... it did clear up my pallet to work with. With a fully cleaned room here, I went to work. This is what I'm using now. Chair is out of the picture just so you can see generally everything. ^_<
